The opening of the Homilius horn quartet, Op. 38, recorded during lock down.

The video below was recorded in April. Lock down due to Covid-19 had been in place for a couple of weeks and we were all missing making music together. Recorded on our phones we tried to recreate the chamber music experience from our separate homes. Although this video allowed us to experience a taste of this, it's just not possible to truly interact as an ensemble without being able to respond to each other in real time. However, I hope this version of the slow movement from Reinecke's Trio for oboe, horn and piano brings you some enjoyment, we were certainly glad to be making music together, no matter how far apart we were.

A video I made with the orchestra of Scottish Opera, representing our time and experience of lock down.

An international lock down project involving horn players from around the world.
